Thanks to a lot of help from my troop we finished the two sandboxes today. It took less time than we thought and we were done by lunchtime.
I will be posting pictures tomorrow.
Thanks to everyone that worked today and helped with donations and encouragement
I have been a Boy Scout for almost 3 years. I am working on my Eagle Scout project. The project is the building of two 16'x6' wooden sandboxes for a local elementary school's kindergarten classrooms. I'm raising funds using the internet and this blog is helping me do that. My estimated cost for the project is $900 for all supplies and materials. I am scheduled to complete my project on January 22, 2011.

Phase 1 is Complete!
Thanks to Ryan Backman and TJ Davis we completed the staining of all the wood yesterday Sunday Jan 16.
The next step will be marking the build site for the sandboxes. I will be doing this on Friday 21st after school.
Then the full project is Saturday Jan 22 2011.
If you would like to come by and encourage my troop this Saturday we will be at Harelson Elementary From 8:00 until 4:00. The address is 826 west Chapala Drive, on the corner of Chapala and Paseo Del Norte. If you have contributed to my Project this is a chance to see your contribution at work.
